With our move to our new location, we haven’t been able to shoot as much as we like but here are some Colorado fall photos to check out:

Football highlights gave me my start in this business, and it still grabs my attention when I see someone produce great work in this area.  This film from the University of Oregon athletic department is one of the best I have ever seen.

The video aspects are great, but their use of sound effects, soundscapes, simple beats and full music tracks makes the film for me.

What a beautiful and memorable day!  Lindsey and Damian were married in Lindsey’s family’s hay field south of Silt Colorado.  This is a beautiful time of year in Colorado.  The colors and contrasts are amazing.  As the ceremony was underway a thunderstorm blew in from the west.  The rain started about halfway through but it was light.  Then, as if on cue, the instant the wedding was over the skies open up.  The weather added some real drama to the shots.

I miss Hawaii.

This is the first highlights clip for Sam and Karna.  Another one is in the works.  Sam and Karna chose Kaua’i for their ceremony and it couldn’t have been more beautiful.  They chose to delay the reception until this summer, so expect more clips then.

Winter is slowly but surely leaving us, but here is one of my favorite pictures from winter 08-09.

I just finished this video for the Rifle Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Rifle.  It was a fun project and hopefully an ongoing one…it needs more summer shots!  Just click the link to view the clip on the Spruce Creek Multimedia site.

Rifle Colorado

My son Ethan and I put a video together the other night after a brief shoot with the HV10 and the Merlin.  It was definitely a fun project.

I had fun putting together a bunch of footage that I had from a variety of projects.  Some stuff was shot with the Brevis.  Most of it was color treated with Magic Bullet.

The colors tonight were amazing.  This is my first attempt at an HDR photo and I am happy with the results.
